Trinity University Status Welcomed

A local politician in Carmarthenshire has welcomed the decision to award Trinity Collage Carmarthen full university status. Adam Price MP , who has a large number of constituents attending the facility, say the accolade is well deserved. The status was approved on December 9th.

Adam Price MP said:

“I am delighted that there will be a university in the county following Trinity’s conversion to university status. It is excellent news for the facility and for education as a whole in the county. This status is well deserved and a credit to the standard of teaching at Trinity.”

Adam added:

“Trinity has gone from strength to strength for a number of years. The staff should be commended for their dedication and hard work which has been of great benefit to the county. A great number of our constituents have been taught at Trinity in the past and I am sure the University status will allow even more people the chance to access first class further education opportunities on their doorstep.”
