£4M Kidney Dialysis Investment Gives Carmarthenshire Patients a Boost
MP Adam Price has welcomed news of a new £4M Kidney Unit at West Wales General hospital. The unit funded mainly by the One Wales Government will mean people living in Carmarthenshire will no longer have to travel so far for treatment.
Adam Price said:
“This is excellent news for patients in Carmarthenshire. This new facility with investment from the One Wales Government will make a real difference to the lives of the people that rely on it.”
Adam added:
“Carmarthenshire patients will no longer have to travel great distances for vital treatments. The added provision means that not only will patients be able to receive treatment locally there is a greater capacity to provide that treatment meaning more people being treated closer to home.”
