20mph limit to save lives
Calls for 20 miles per hour limits to be placed on roads by schools have been backed by a local MP. Adam Price said the limit could make life saving changes and have backed its introduction in Carmarthenshire.
Adam Price MP said:
“This is a very important campaign. When it comes to children’s safety there can be no half measures and all precautions must be taken. This is something I am sure the local community can support and will make a huge difference to school safety in the county.”
Adam added:
“Making the areas around our local schools 20mph zones is a commitment within the One Wales Government and it is certainly something that I fully support. It is a simply but very effective measure that could be the difference in saving lives.”
